On Monday, January 17th, we celebrate and reflect on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy and commitment to racial and economic justice. 

At the National Teamster convention in June, the International union passed a resolution to fight for Martin Luther King Day as a paid holiday in all Teamster contracts and industries.

In Local 96, we've won MLK Day as a paid holiday. Now we stand with our brothers and sisters fighting for this across the country.
